At the Lindenau Museum in Altenburg, Germany is an installation art project called "Folds". The exhibit is by Rober Seidel and this is what he had to say about this particular body of work. "The work folds for the Lindenau Museum (Altenburg, Germany) may be understood as a rapprochement with the history of the museum’s collection of plaster casts. I was particularly interested in the ancient, fragmented bodies – how through the loss of limbs they became almost abstract, fragmentary sculptures and yet still disclosed a nearly uncanny vitality."

Japanese visual artist Yuki Matsueda has created this crazy series in 3D style rendering. Figures look to be leaping from their frames, puzzle pieces linger outside their respective placements, clubs and diamonds protrude from the cards they are meant to emblazon. Yuki was born in Ibaraki, Japan and studied at Tokyo University of the Arts. Check out the images.

As creative director for Polaroid, Lady Gaga has reinvented the iconic camera companies artistic endeavors. The Made in Polaroid Exhibition is an example of her direction. Brought together by an assortment of artists, designers, actors, photographers, and other entertainer, the exhibit's installments where all made using the Polaroid GL 10 Instant Mobile Printer. Tyra Banks, Viggo Mortensen, and James Franco were of the notable 60 participants. The pieces were auctioned off 9.14.11 where all proceeds went to Free Arts NYC; a non-profit that provides arts and mentoring programs to youth.

For Fendi's new Sloane Street Boutique, the Italian Luxury Fashion House has challenged design students from London's Royal College of Art to create a series of punk inspired art installations. The project consisted of utilizing discarded straps from Fendi's Selleria handbag collection. This is not the first time the luxury brand has collaborated with students for design projects. Five post-graduate teams were chosen. Check out the images.
