These cool sculpture by Australian fine arts practitioner Ben Young are made from laminated clear float glass. The 'special' glass is manufatured using a technique called the Pilkington Process that dates back to the 1950's. Ben's manipulation of the specially made glass is refreshing and often striking in each piece's chosen context of expression.

French studio Zim & Zou, used what most likely were soon-to-be discarded leather scraps from Hermès handbags and other goods. It was created by Hilton McConnico for the luxury brand and then shown at an exhibition at the Tanjong Pagar Railway.

British "Lighting Artist", Bruce Munro has recently decided on his next show to be in the United States. This will be just his second time showcasing his "light art" in America. A collection of 10 large-scale outdoor installations as well as indoor sculptures can be seen at the Cheekwood Botanical Garden in Nashville, Tennessee May 24th, 2013 to November 10th, 2013.

"Without Skateboarding I Am Nothing." These capitalized words introduce us to self-taught Japanese artist and skateboard enthusiast, Haroshi when visiting his website. "To Haroshi," the sites proclaims proudly, "his art pieces are equal to his skateboards, and that means they are his life itself. They're his communication tool with both himself and the outside world." Recycling discarded skateboards, "His creations are born through styles such as wooden mosaics, dots, and pixels; where each element, cut out in different shapes or kept in their original form, are connected in different styles and shaven into form of the final art piece." Peter Gronquist, a Portland, Oregon born artist who's been drawing and painting since his wonder years, obsessively created art through that times and still does to this day. One of his obsessions appear to be taxidermy. These 'sculptures' takes that obsession a step further and matched it with his apparent obsessions with guns, gold and commercial brands. Peter now lives in Oakland, California, as a graduate of the San Francisco Art Institute, finding time to paint everyday.
