I am a big fan of mindful meditation but for many of us, we require a little assistance. Our lives, at times, can take on a manic state, where we run from work to family to social engagements and repeat. The occasional vacation is great but they are usually sporadic and fail to provide any longlasting sense of relief. Meditation is perfect for stress-relief but takes considerable effort when attempting it alone. Guided meditation, on the other hand, walks you through a meditation and will help you enter a tranquil and peaceful state.

With our lives being constant and consistently demanding, finding the time to meditate can be challenging in itself. There are the 3-minute guided meditations offered by the practitioner; mind and body specialist Adam Michael Brewer that I recommend.

As for me, I practice mindful meditation as well as guided meditations. Cooking or going for a run are both forms of mindful meditation. Meditation is the art of being present, that's why there is a focus on intentional breathing. The key is to find what works for you.
