A combination of Japanese and Brazilian gastronomies create the menu for the Ikibana restaurant; two cultures that seemingly clash come together to form a cohesive dining atmosphere. The conservative Japanese culture is juxtaposed against the liveliness of Brazil. The art of flower arrangement which is called Ikebana showcases a deep rooted respect for nature found in Japanese Culture, the space is fluidly sectioned off into islands, the bars and kitchens are divided into "intensity nodes." The jungles of Brazil come to life with the wooden ceiling designed as a forest of entwined branches. The restaurant is in Barcelona, Spain and was designed by El Equipo Creativo.
